Plans are already under way for a spectrum of events to celebrate the tenth anniversary of TOKYO GAME SHOW. Visitors will be offered opportunities to get up-close and hands-on experience with the full gamut of computer entertainment, including next-generation platforms, video game software, online gaming, mobile content, and portable game software.
Among this year’s highlights is the mobile content exhibition space, which is expected to become even bigger than last year’s newly-set-up plaza - one of the 2005 Show’s most popular features. On the “Business Day”, we plan to expand and bolster the TGS Forum and provide space for business talks.
Internationalization will be another key point in this year’s show. Last year’s Business Day saw a great number of international attendees from 32 different countries and territories, led by a strong turnout from other parts of Asia, while a record 30 overseas companies set up booth displays on the exhibition floor. This year,more efforts will be put into raising media interest, as well as promoting even greater international participation. As a full-spectrum game expo of global interest, TOKYO GAME SHOW will strive to convey and cultivate fun and beauty of games to the world.
